Cruise departure ports for North Carolina travelers

Port of Charleston

Charleston, SC

About 3.5 hours from Charlotte — the closest major cruise homeport for most of North Carolina.

Port Canaveral

Cape Canaveral, FL

About 9 hours from Charlotte — a longer drive but popular for families combining Disney World with a Disney Cruise Line sailing.

Why work with a travel advisor?

Travel advisors have access to rates, perks, and booking windows that aren't available to the public. Kelly monitors your reservation after booking, handles changes, and advocates for you when things go sideways.

Her service is free. The suppliers pay her commission — you pay the same price you'd pay booking direct, but with a dedicated expert in your corner.
